Lee DeWyze sang the U2 song Beautiful Day on the American Idol 2010 Top 2 but it wasn’t a beautiful night as Crystal Bowersox seems to have taken her chance to climb the mountain and left Lee standing in the valley for the top prize. Only time will tell. The song was picked for Lee by Simon Fuller so he had nothing to do with the selection.

Philippine flood death toll to 240 , MANILA: The Philippines government says 240 people are now known to have died in severe flooding caused by Tropical Storm Ketsana. The country has appealed for foreign aid to deal with the disaster, which has displaced more than 450,000 people.
