Canyon of Heroes: As we recently reported the New York Yankees have won the World Series for the 27th time, and the Yankees will be held at the traditional New York fashion, with a parade up the Canyon of Heroes on Friday. At 11 hours of battery starting at City Hall, the Bronx Bombers will be swimming in a sea of confetti and cheers of congratulations on lower Broadway from Battery to City Hall. Parade plans were presented by Mayor Bloomberg after the victory of the Yankees
