New York From the success of second Twilight Saga movie, “New Moon” which hit box-office yesterday, a lot of fans are already excited to watch the third Twilight Saga movie, Eclipse.
Eclipse is the third installment of the Twilight film series, based on Stephenie Meyer’s novel of the same name. The film is tentatively scheduled for release on 30th June 2010. It will follow 2008’s Twilight and 2009’s New Moon. Summit Entertainment officially greenlit the film in February 2009.
Because New Moon director Chris Weitz will be in post-production for New Moon, which will be released only seven months before Eclipse, when Eclipse begins shooting, he will not be directing the third film. The film will be directed by David Slade.
Principal photography began 17th August 2009 in Vancouver and ended on 29th October 2009.
