Cheryl Cole is bravely bouncing back from her marriage split and can’t wait to party.
The Girls Aloud singer opened her heart for the first time since parting from cheating football star husband Ashley as she arrived in Copenhagen. Cheryl was in the Danish capital as she prepared to perform her new single Parachute on the local version of X Factor.
Keen to reassure her fans she was getting on with her life after the turmoil of the last few weeks, the beauty smiled: “Everything’s good. I’m rocking it and enjoying myself. If there’s a party I’ll be there. That’s what it’s all about.” Cheryl, 26, who is staying in a £500-a-night hotel suite, joked about letting her hair down after her performance.
She said: “I’ll show you my moves don’t you worry. Let’s do the one where we go down low together. Everyone thinks I’ve got some soul with my moves.” Asked how she was feeling following the split from the Chelsea ace, she replied calmly: “Everything’s good. I’m okay.”
Earlier fellow diners remarked how she was in high spirits.
One said: “For someone who has been through so much lately, it didn’t seem to show. She was in a thoroughly good mood.”
But last night friends said Cheryl is still in emotional pain.One revealed: “There are good times and bad but Cheryl’s determined to move on.”
She announced the end of her three year marriage two weeks ago after it emerged Ashley, 29, had allegedly cheated with four women and sent lewd pictures to a fifth. The £100,000-a-week player is being treated for a broken ankle in France.
